I add Nuoc mug on the side (50c or $1 extra, I don't remember the price)
They lasted 30 minutes after ordering the nudel. when they are hungry, ready to wait we tried both hutieu and egg noodle. very good.
I and my family come here since I can remember and that says a lot about the place, every dish is delicious! clear noodle combination (dry) is so tasteful, I tried this dish in many other restaurants nearby and compared nothing with the aromen of viet trung. they have renovated the place so that there are more seats, as they have always done very well. great eating that reminds me of my childhood, hope that my children try this place of a day (if I have children!) very well come back!
A great place for those who like hu tieu. I am coming back
We use to some here all the time (been around since I was born). The service here is always poor. There is a young lady there that is always polite though, and the only asset. The owner is real piece of work (as you can see from other reviewers and below) My auntie dined 2 years ago and they gave her cheap lettuce instead of chrysanthemum leaves with her egg noodle assuming she didn't know any better. My auntie had to ask for some and their response was there were none left, until the waiter brought some out for a customer that came in after. They miraculously found some for my auntie. Makes my blood boil. Since then I have refused to come here. We came last week as my sister is pregnant and wanted particular foods. We got dry seafood egg noodle. The portion of the noodles is the size of a closed fist. And there is NO flavour anymore I had to load with soy sauce. Our soup was cold. Frankly, the food and service is S ! To top it off, the owner (old asian lady, with long hair) swore in her rachet language after I asked for the breakdown of the bill. I would love to be in the boxing ring with her one day.
