The quality of the tea is higher than other tea places in cabramatta and are served in very beautiful cups cups. The girls at the counter were very friendly and helped with tea suggestions. The place is very pretty and well decorated
When i first saw this place, i thought it was gonna be bad. But i decided to try their tea & ive been coming back ever since! ???? I love their Vanilla Lattea and absolutely love the jasmine green teaccino. Customer service is great and polite. Place looks really nice to be around too. Cant wait to try more of their new drinks in the future (if they do add more).
Love the mango smoothie, which is topped off with whipped cream and mango bits. Good customer service, and they've introduced a points system which can be activated for free for students with ID. Otherwise you have to purchase $20 worth of beverages.
Their Dark Oolong Teaccino is a must have! I always grab one when I'm in the area and the atmosphere there is very welcoming and relaxing, a good place to spend an afternoon.
Prior to having the creamy Vanilla Lattea, I have had a heavy lunch meal that gave me an uneasy greasy feeling inside. My appetite for the tea was not as demanding as when I had initially desired it earlier in the morning. In terms of the flavour of the tea, the teahouse was not that different to other tea places like Chatime or Gong Cha. I say this in terms of flavour of the tea, it has much in common with the milk teas made at the other tea places. For example, I was warned by the staff that the Vanilla Lattea was pretty sweet and so my initial reaction to the Vanilla Lattea was that it was sweet! But the sweetness levelled down when my taste buds became used to the sweetness. The Vanilla Lattea didn't leave any sweet aftertaste! It was good. Another factor which I appreciated from the tea was that the teahouse provided the option to have the tea hot. The hot tea pacified the greasy oils that were in my mouth since my greasy ordeal at lunchtime. In addition, the cream topping they added was cold in contrast to the hotness of the tea. The mix of hot and cold was quite nice! The cold cream levelled down the hotness of the tea. And the almond toppings they had added made the tea have a crunch but didn't overwhelm the vanillaness of the tea itself! The overall experience of drinking the hot tea was similar to, what one could imagine, as having a picnic with your friends and drinking hot tea in an open green space. Drinking the hot tea has a way to calm one's nerves and I believe that this tea experience gave me that, especially when the floral deco of the teahouse had made the environment welcoming to my palette. However, I have two main criticisms with the tea experience. One was that the straw they provided with the drink had made drinking the hot tea uncomfortable, since the straw concentrated the heat from the tea and had burnt my tongue. Secondly, I was quite full from my heavy lunch and so I wished they had a smaller size option for my stomach to handle. I was drinking the hot tea halfway and I felt like I had lost my appetite since my stomach wasn't feeling for anymore tea. In addition to my mum sitting in front of me, the experience of having-to-finish-my-food-and-not-waste-food was confronting and funny at the same time (I was laughing at myself and hurting inside T_T). My stomach felt bloated and my tongue was overwhelmed by the constant sweetness of forcing myself to drink. Sure enough though, hot tea is meant to be a time-honoured experience and it's not something you rush through - sorta like hot coffee. Overall, I'm afraid I can't give a genuine rating for a 4 or higher because my stomach had been filled by the time of drinking the hot tea.. And so my appetite was not ready for a full "teahouse" experience. Next time I go to the teahouse I would drink this as a standalone lunch, and maybe I could have a light snack to complement it. In addition to my review, my mum and her friend commented that the drinks were quite expensive, and I have to agree in terms of the special pricing they gave to three of their teas. But aside from what I have said thus far, this may be the only trivial criticism I have of the teahouse. The pricing reflects the menu to the customer's background and food experience, but doesn't reflect the store itself.
