Ordered one steak and a different one came out, another meal had a piece of a dish washing scour in it. Was excited for Saturday night cocktails but they were made with fruit syrups rather than fresh ingredients. The service staff tried to make things better but unfortunately they just seemed inexperienced and didn't know how to service recover. Won't be dining here again.
My friends and I had dinner at this restaurant tonight. We ordered 5 different meals, all of which were delicious and unique. One meal was specially prepared to accommodate a special dietary need.
Our meal began with lamb chops accompanied by mushrooms and an Asian sauce, which was simply spectacular! For our main course, I enjoyed the freshly made four meat pasta, while my wife savored the rib fillet with sweet potato garnish and vegetables. The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. Our son, being a typical four-year-old, opted for chips instead of the delicious food we were enjoying, but we indulged in a shared dessert of chocolate wontons that were absolutely divine! The portion sizes at this restaurant are generous, and we always leave fully satisfied. The quality and presentation of the food are comparable to a city restaurant, but at a much more reasonable price. One standout aspect of this restaurant is the well-trained wait staff who are knowledgeable about the dishes and can provide detailed explanations without having to consult the chef. This level of service is rare to find. Overall, this restaurant comes highly recommended, and it is worth traveling a distance to experience such exceptional dining.
Had a special family lunch at Scott's and the food was excellent and the staff could not be anymore helpful with the suggestions. If you are into beers try the boutique beers offered at this restaurant.
We went to Damien's for a birthday dinner whilst staying in the glass house mountains. We waited over 50 mins for our food and almost had to leave. There were 8 small tables, it was a quiet Friday night so really no excuse. The food was good I'll give them that however paying $37 each for mains and $9 glass of wine the service and time let this place down. When I asked how long it would be they said "we're just putting wine on your mussels" I look over and they are just opening the packet. The owner then responded "we work on 45 minute cycles" which is fine if you're busy. They brought my partners steak out, 5 minutes before my mussels because they only put them on when I enquired. Not sure what happened tonight but this was a big let down.
