They are not consistent and highly unprofessional. I ordered a pick up and drove all the way there for the guy at the door to tell me the kitchen was shut down yet they have it as an optional food choice on yelp letting you completely waste your time to finally arrive there for them to tell you the kitchen is broken. I won't know how the food tastes because that was the 2nd time there was some issue with food restaurant and chef. They don't care about your time because they don't care about theirs or the longevity of the business. They won't last long this is a tuff area for such sloppy neglect and disregard. Get your act together Sinbad and don't go asking for bailouts if Your not willing to change how you operate your business. That is if you're not in the weeds already because that would not surprise me
Gyros are good. Falafel is good. Babagnosh ... is GOOD! With most Mediterranean in the area coming from subpar franchises (those disappointing Pita Guys) or places that are just subpar (George Burger ... ugh), it 's nice to find the occasional place that does things right. Sinbad Ultra Lounge may not be your typical restaurant (I mean, it does have 'lounge ' in the name), the premises looking more like the kind of place where you 'd have a Jr. High School Ice Cream Social, but they 've got a great menu and, better yet, a great cook behind the counter. I can 't remember what day I came here for dinner, but Sinbad 's was empty around 5:00pm that evening. A few other trickled in to pickup food, but after placing my order, it was me and a room full of vacant couches and televisions playing stuff ranging from national news to belly dancing videos. Behind the counter was a man possessed, a flurry of cooking and the occasional taken order by a lone worker trying to make sure everything is taken care of and finished in good time while ensuring that anyone waiting was comfortable and listened to. Honestly, considering how well and quick food came out, I have to say I was fairly impressed. I ordered the Gyro Sandwich. At a $6 price point, it 's a very cost effective option and not a bad rendition of this dish. The meat was juicy, not dried out, and filled with a good amount of both beef and veggies. My only complaint would be that there was way too much tzatziki sauce glopped upon it, making the dinner a bit overly moist. Still, the flavors were on point and it was enjoyable overall. The fries I ordered on the side should have been swapped out for rice; I just went with the cheapest option. My wife had the Beef Shawerma Plate, a half-stuffed styrofoam container of rice and well seasoned meat. She enjoyed the meat well enough, but would have preferred more of both in place of either the side salad (which didn 't have the dressing she expected or preferred) or the hummus (which she doesn 't like at all, but I found pretty tasty). You get a smaller amount here as opposed to Aria 's around the corner, but it 's still filling. In the end, cheaper food that 's still pretty good, made by one of the harder working cooks I 've seen behind the counter. Definitely worth the money, definitely a good option for lunch or dinner. Never been here for the lounge itself (and I don 't ever plan on it), but coming back for some quick bites is definitely worth coming back for. It may not be the best Gyros around, but it 's still pretty solid.
Best Gyro, and it’s super reasonable with a lot of meat:
Food is delicious and staff is very friendly, the place is set up for a night time lounge so it might throw you off but the food is outstanding.
