After we asked for recommended food for an authentic Mexican, we found la mexicana. lightly from the beaten away, our family had a great meal and the service was amazing! the queso fundido, taquitos, tostadas, enchiladas, carne asada were all delicious. my two children (7
Fabulous authentic Mexican restaurant that offers a daily special in the afternoon until 5pm which includes soup , entree, flavored water and dessert for 90 pesos or about $5.50 depending on dollar value. Great ambiance, service and authentic delicious food. There is a choice of...3 -5 entrees and 2-3 desserts. Don't miss this one!
Only issue when we were there is that is was empty. Service was great and the food was good. We ordered carne asada and it was not what we expected. A steak but not a thin skirt steak we are use to. Best chips and...salsa we had in Cabo but again not what we are use to. Drinks are the more local places( which this is) are 1/2 the prices of the fancy places. Beers are less than $2 and margaritas are about $5-6.
Nice Mexican restaurant. We like the chili Riano. Not expensive place and many variety of food choices. Located off the tourist area, but worth the trip.
