Great Ecuadorian food around Philadelphia area. Big portion and
Horrible place bad food soup is disgusting and soggy workers are rude and poopy heads.
I never had Ecuadorian food before, so there is no way for me to judge it's authenticity. I can say that I enjoyed the meal very much. I ordered online and it arrived in less than 40 minutes. I ordered the Chaulafan Especial. It was a very large portion of seasoned meat, rice, and plantains. I would recommend it. Very happy to have this unique restaurant in the local area.
I usually don 't leave reviews but I 'm doing it to even remind myself not to eat their food again. You cannot say authentic Ecuadorian food but other than the dishes named there was nothing authentic.I ordered take out and got 2 plantain empanadas, salchipapas and bolon de chicharron. The empanadas didn 't even have the shape of a true Ecuadorian empanada de Verde. It was in a circle shape mixed with a lot of cebollin and they used Mozzarella cheese as opposed to queso Ecuatoriano, and the cheese was going bad by the way.The salchipapas not like any Ecuadorian salchipapas ever. The fries were worst that McDonald 's fries, and the diced up some weird hotdog maybe Vienna sausage.I was so excited for bolon but as terrible. The plantain tasted like it was scraps that have been overheated more times and the chicharron was so old that it was so hard to chew on.For someone who isn 't familiar with true authentic Ecuadorian food this restaurant would be ok but if you know you know. I never throw food out but I had to throw out the salchipapas and the other empanada because that 's how terrible they were.
