The Buxton Crescent

Very good food and very good customer service throughout. The hotel reception area, the lounge bar, and the restaurant were all attractively furnished, and the hotel team were busy in keeping things ship-shape through the evening.

Great food and attention to detail, lovely to finally be back in this incredible hotel.

It's not inexpensive, but the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere is excellent. Overall, it's the best restaurant in Buxton. One standout feature is that you can actually hold a conversation without having to shout, which is truly refreshing.

The evening was somewhat mixed, as it appeared that the staff had difficulty communicating with one another. The food was enjoyable, but the portions were smaller than I had anticipated, and the menu did not reflect the current offerings listed on OpenTable. The appetizers and main dishes had slightly overcooked meat and some undercooked elements that could have been better balanced. Additionally, I found the Panna Cotta to be a bit too rich for my taste. Despite these drawbacks, the meal was still quite good overall.

I had a pleasant dining experience with excellent service. They offered a milk-free option along with a selection of two delicious cakes. The only downside was that the room felt small and lacked ambiance; it gave the impression of being in the main kitchen area. Despite this, I would still recommend it.
