La Quinta Inn Suites By Wyndham Butte

Good stop for the night on our road trip.Staff were all very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was quite good.

This place was amazing. Such friendly staff, helpful, and looked happy to be at work. Butte was such a cute place to stay at for a night when we were road trippin '. You can see Our Lady of the Rockies from this motel. Super cool. Breakfast was good, typical continental breakfast but with smiling staff and a clean lobby area for eating/chilling. Nice hot tub, although we did not get in it. They even have all DOVE shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion attached to the wall. Dove y 'all. Bed was comfy and temp was easy to control (my hubs freezes me at 66 degrees).Rooms: Very clean, comfy.Nearby activities: OUR LADY OF THE ROCKIES- look it up.Food drinks: Casagranda 's Steakhouse was delicious.

The staff at check-in was wonderful, but I was not impressed with the room, especially the bathroom (see photos). There was pink mold in the corners, brown gunk near the handrail, and the shower spout diverter didn't work properly, causing half of the water pressure to pour out at my feet. Additionally, the tub stopper was loose and kept getting clogged from the tub filler blasting water while I was trying to shower. The bathroom fan seemed ineffective, as steam filled the whole room and fogged up the window during a moderate temperature shower. It seems like housekeeping and maintenance at this location need improvement.

Traveling with our dog and we've stayed at a number of places on this trip, but this is the first time we haven't felt like second-class citizens for having a dog along with. The room was a little small, but very clean, room temperature was good, staff were helpful and kind, breakfast had something for everybody: lots of hot food options, lots of faster, cold food options. Would absolutelystay here again!Noteworthy details: Can't speak to all the pet-friendly rooms, but ours was great and didn't smell like a menagerie of animals had been here previously! Traveling with a dog is not always a good experience, but this sure was.

One major drawback of this hotel was the poorly lit parking lot, which gave off a creepy vibe due to its darkness. The lack of lighting made me feel unsafe and also made it difficult to load and unload our car. Additionally, it was challenging to find the entrance other than through the main lobby as there was no lighting. However, the staff was friendly and the room was neat and clean, allowing us to have a good night's sleep. The hotel appeared to be a bit worn out, but its location near the interstate was convenient.
