We ordered the chorizo and cheese tostones, but there was no cheese—just Pico de Gallo, lettuce, and sour cream on top. The burger was decent, but the bacon was chewy and overwhelmingly fatty. The fries were greasy and soggy, which is disappointing considering that under the previous owner, the burger and fries were the highlights of the menu. My wife tried the half-order of chicken nachos and found them just okay; she wouldn't order them again. I also noticed the ladies at the table next to us sent back their wings because they looked unappetizing, as if the sauce was simply dumped onto the plate rather than tossed with the wings. At first glance, it resembled a pasta dish smothered in Alfredo sauce. On a positive note, the bartender was friendly and attentive. However, I don't think we'll return for a meal, though we might consider coming in for drinks instead.
The food and service were exceptional. The fish tacos and fajitas were both excellent and served in generous portions. The only suggestion for improvement would be to increase the frying temperature for the fries.
The bartenders were unfriendly, the food was mediocre and overpriced. I might give them another chance when they reopen, as their entire staff has left and they have been closed for at least a week.
They are under new ownership, and the food was fantastic! The hospitality was excellent and very accommodating. They also have live music, which makes me want to visit frequently in the coming months.
It's no surprise that this place shut down; it was run by the same people who managed Why Not 2, which also failed.
