The kimbap was so large that I couldn't finish it and had to take some home. The owner made sure I was vegetarian before preparing my meal. There were also other vegetarian options including vegetable kimbap, avocado kimbap, soy meat kimbap, tofu kimbap, vegetable fried rice, and soy meat fried rice. I may come back again in the future!
There are 3-4 vegan options available at this restaurant, each paired with a variety of sauces. I tried three different options and was pleasantly surprised. The avocado option was my favorite, and the wasabi sauce was also a standout. Perfect for enjoying at the beach or on the move.
I loved both the avocado and tofu vegan options at this restaurant. However, the rolls were so big that we were advised to use plastic gloves instead of chopsticks to eat them. Unfortunately, my roll fell apart easily. Personally, I prefer my kimbap to be smaller and tightly rolled.
I was pleased to find a Kimbap restaurant in Busan that offers a variety of vegan options, rather than just removing the meat and eggs like most places. The owner doesn't speak much English, but is friendly and easy to communicate with when ordering vegan dishes. I particularly enjoyed the sweet and avocado options, though I wasn't a fan of the meat alternative as it tasted too realistic for my liking. (I didn't try the tofu option.) The prices were very affordable and the portions were generous, so be mindful of how much you order! Overall, a great find for vegan options in Busan.
The owner of the restaurant was very friendly! We ordered the gammbap with tofu and the one with avocado, both were extremely delicious. The owner even gave us a complimentary noodle dish that was also very tasty! We highly recommend dining at this cozy little restaurant.
