The dining room is nothing special, but it gets the job done. It's a good spot for a quick bite to eat. We ordered chicken and soup. The server was friendly, but complained a lot about their busy and long day while serving us, which was not ideal. The food came out quickly and was very good! The chicken was cooked perfectly - flavorful, crispy, and moist. The soup was also delicious and homemade. Overall, we were satisfied with our meal and left feeling full.
This restaurant is a cozy and casual spot that serves fried chicken and soft serve ice cream. While it may not be considered upscale, it is a great place to enjoy a tasty meal. The staff is welcoming and friendly, making it a great choice for a family outing.
Tourists who want to experience local cuisine and homemade dishes will be disappointed here. The restaurant was clean but lacking in atmosphere, with outdated and smelly bathrooms. When we asked for water, we were brought bottled water without glasses and were not informed that they do not serve tap water, forcing us to purchase the bottled water. Overall, we would not return for the fish and chips despite the diverse menu options. Many items on the menu are not locally sourced, which is a disappointment considering the potential for showcasing regional cuisine.
"Antique" is the best word: Charming, pricey, touristy, and of slightly questionable ethical code. In all honesty, the only reason I stumbled into La
Excellent neighbourhood bar in an otherwise pretty tourist-oriented location.
