Stella Pasta Bakery - Burnt Hills

The restaurant itself is lovely, located in an older home in Schenectady. The music was at just the right volume, and the service was exceptional. We were checked on frequently, and Rosie was fantastic. We started with the ricotta fritters, which were delicious! I had the linguini vongole, while my partner ordered the chicken parmesan. The linguini vongole came in a flavorful broth with an abundance of perfectly cooked littleneck clams. I had quite a bit of pasta left over, which I reheated with some minced clams for a great second dinner! The chicken parmesan and linguini were also excellent. For dessert, we indulged in crème brûlée paired with fantastic coffee. I can’t wait to go back and explore more items on the menu!

I love Stella's. We first started going at their Burnt Hills location. That is closed now. I am happy to see Stella's at a bigger place. The inside of their building is beautiful (in Schenectady). It great that more people are aware of their fine food. When I went to their new Schenectady location for the first time, it was very good. I got the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, which I definitely recommend. All of the food's presentation is very good. They also give you the option of having freshly grated parmesan cheese, which tastes amazing. Prices may be a little high for some stuff, but food is very good and servers and the host are super nice, so it is worth it. If you are looking for things to get that are good get... -Caesar Salad- so good! The best one Ive ever had. Dressing is to die for! -Mushroom Ravioli- the sauce makes it so you won't have leftovers! -Chicken Piccata- Nice, light sauce, pasta is amazing -Stella Crab Cakes- a nice fresh crab taste -Chicken Marsala- mushrooms are very tasty, sauce is perfect Thanks for reading my review! The restaurant was bustling when we arrived for our 7:30 PM reservation. We started off with some drinks and ordered crab cakes as our appetizer. While waiting, we were served freshly baked bread, which was absolutely delicious and paired wonderfully with both the butter and Saratoga olive oil! The crab cakes were fantastic, featuring a nice kick that made for a great start to the meal. As we placed our dinner orders, a live band began to play, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to return. The prices are reasonable, and the service is very prompt.

I enjoyed my experience at Stella Pasta Bar Bistro. The food was great, and the staff were courteous. However, the only downside was that the acoustic musician was quite loud. Even though we were seated on the restaurant side, the volume from his microphone and amplifier was excessive. It would have been better if he had played unplugged or turned down the volume to create more of a background ambiance. The space is simply too small for such a high volume. Aside from that, I look forward to returning.

Caesar salad was very good. Pasta and veal were very disappointing. Too bad for a place that is suppose to be a pasta bar
