Very difficult to park nearby as the village has restricted parking. Ideal If you have been on a walking trip as there are many different walks in the area. Food drinks: Food and drinks are at a reasonable price, the food is good quality. Quiet in the week but very busy at the weekend. Service: 4 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Quiet
We went for a walk out of Barley towards the sculpture trail and then back to eat here. Luckily the pub is dog friendly. I struggled with the menu as I have an onion allergy but the waitress on the night couldn't have been more helpful. She listened , was empathic and even asked the chef what I could and couldn't have. I had the gammon which was delicious. Millionaire shortbread for dessert finished the meal off. The decor in the pub is beautiful and reminded us of a log cabin . We will be back . Highly recommended. Nearby activities: Great walks on the doorstep. Really cute village. Food drinks: Fabulous . You won't be disappointed.
Lovely pub food after a nice walk up Pendle Hill. Service was great. Service: 4 Location: 5
Great village pub with very helpful staff. Handpulled cask beers were Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker and Moorhouse's White Witch. Menu didn't proffer much choice at all for vegetarians and vegans, even the three salad choices were all animals. There were however some options if you only wanted a light snack or nibble. Gluten free catered for. Serve hot drinks too. Tidy, clean bar area and plenty of outdoor seating available. Service: 5
