They have a fantastic BBQ style menu including pulled pork and brisket. at this opportunity I had embroidered a pizza with the bark meat, pork, swash and a delicious bourbon-based BBQ sauce. it is very easy to get from the m5 so if they find themselves in the opposite I would recommend jumping in.
Very friendly, only outside seats. good one worth visiting when they pass
Lovely people lovely carvery pud only. £10.95 for both or £9.25 for carvery handy for our campsite about 1 mile away
Dog friendly pub that has two real ales and a choice of larger and ciders. Sunday lunch is excellent!
We went for the fish chip night, but on arrival were told there was only enough fish left for 3 people, there were 4 of us. It was only 6pm!! I was offered the Sri Lanka. With no other choice, I had that. I wasn't offered the Sri Lanka starter. Others just sat there whilst it was brought out to them. I eventually asked. There was no vegetable curry only 1 chicken curry dish (I don't eat meat). It was tasty enough, but the sauce was watery. The starter of onion bhajis were really not nice. They tasted of flour. This less than satisfactory meal cost me £10.50. Whereas the meal of fish chips that I went for would've only cost me £5 I actually would have enjoyed my meal. We won't be going back.
