The waffles are very tasty. We had one savoury and one sweet. We were there on a weekday around 7:30 pm and there were a few other patrons. Prices are reasonable and recommend the bubble tea.
I had purchased a Groupon for this restaurant, and my husband and I visited to try out something new. I ordered the chicken salad waffle, while my husband ordered the chocolate one. We each had a bubble tea as well, and everything was amazing! It was so much better than I had anticipated, with fresh food, friendly service, and good value for the money. We will definitely be back!
We went on a raining day searching for a treat. There was parking on the street out front. It looked nice and bright inside. We were a family of 5. Other people inside were young couples. There was not a problem with getting a table on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Strawberry Heaven Deluxe and a matcha latte. When it first arrived, I was disappointed by the size. However, once I started to eat it, it was much more filling than expected. The presentation was nice. The 2 teenage girls ordered and shared a chocolate volcano - every thing was cleaned off the plate! The matcha latte and the Belgian hot chocolate were okay but not the reason for a repeat visit. Service was attentive. I would like to come back with a groupon next time and try the savory waffles.
Small waffles, not overly flavourful, hence the need for sweet or savoury toppings. Savoury waffles are a bit weird - not what you'd expect in terms of taste, but also not bad. Just different. I had the morning poached egg dish which was the relatively small waffle with poached egg on top and the rest of the dish was a green salad. So it was at least healthy. My wife ordered the banana with Nutella which is hard to go wrong. Very good, but again, small portion size compared to what you'd get at IHOP or De Dutch Pannekoek House. Also, they erred and brought me a Chai latte when I asked for the Matcha latte. I should've just taken the Chai as the Matcha was awful and seemed to be hastily thrown together since they took so long to get our food to us. Staff were very nice and friendly. Prices a bit steep given the serving size, but a good deal if you get the Groupon offer. Overall my wife and I were not impressed with this place but willing to try it again, perhaps for their signature sweet waffles next time if it's later in the day (we were there for breakfast).
