The Big 6 Family Restaurnt - Burnaby

Great little restaurant under new ownership! I had gone here before and been sorely disappointed, only recently I decided to give it another go! It's a charming family run business with excellent food at good value, all with the home cooked style. Good coffee and great service. The place is cleaned up and the renos really paid off! The inside is modern and very cute now, as opposed to the duct taped seats before.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast while on my summer cheap eats breakfast tour. Two eggs, cooked over easy with two slices of bacon and pan fried potatoes. Breakfast simple and beautiful. Nothing fancy, just exactly what you would expect from a greasy spoon restaurant. Recommended and I will return.

Trucker's Special Breakfast. We go here occassionally for the Trucker's Special 2 eggs, toast, sausage or bacon and homemade hashbrowns for $3.85.<br/ <br/ Family run, great value.

As of February 2016 New Owners! The place is clean now! Same menu of classic Diner foods, The Truckers Breakfast stays at the same cheap price and even the Frieghtliner remains but the duct tape on the seats is gone. Its my go to breakkie place, The Big 6 is BACK!!!!

Reminds me of Bons off Broadway. Grimey hole in the wall but the best bang for your buck guaranteed. If you don't mind the Chinese family yelling at each other in their mother tongue behind you,give it a go. Worth the 10bux in your pocket!
