Swiss Chalet - Burnaby

With regrets, as the planned family dinner from Swiss Chalet in Burnaby is not happening. The last Swiss Chalet in BC was closed, apparently happened at end of August (after 25 years there). Too bad. Our family favourite chicken place for many years/decades. Now the nearest locations are locations in Calgary and Edmonton.

The Staff are super.The service is great and the food is very good.The salad to start is very good.I wish there where more of them to serve the people.Kyle you are out standing.reasonable as well for price.

Very bed service and food was very cold that’s reason all the Swiss chalets close in Vancouver and bc that’s telling you bed job from head office and owners close the door and they walked away broke I never support this kind of business and company when they do nothing about it

Waoooo!!!!.... beyond our expectations!!!! Cozy place, beautiful decoration and most important great culinary and professional , excellent service offered by Janet W. She is very courteous and she nicely guided us by selecting from the menu , which has huge variety and possibilities. You can judge it by seeing our enclosed pictures....sorry the lemon merengue pie was already started by us before the picture. The restaurant is walking distance from our home .... so.... it will be our favourite restaurant . They are licensed and in general, prices are very affordable and portions are very generous . For sure we will go back again.

It is a chain of casual family diner ,I believe they have three location in mainland ,this location closed almost five week last year for renovations , lot of parking ,past by ,It is so tough to resist for the chicken and rib , so last mins dropped in for lunch ,decor just like the 90s diner, clean and spacious ,happy to see the safety plan and social distancing well follow ,single us menu ,due to the current pandemic ,menu litter limited ,but still a lot to choice from , I am happy I got my half ribs and chicken , they both not dry at all ,very juicy and flavourful , ,service little slow . but friendly , looks they need more staff ,but over all ,full and happy , if you have not been to Swiss Chalet ,try it out ,their signature rotisserie chicken is excellent ,very affordable !
