Sooda Korean Bbq - Burnaby

Met up with some friends for lunch here. I arrived late, so I 'm not 100% sure what we ordered, but I think we had: Sooda Bulgogi Very good. Fun way to get a sampling of foods. Sooda Box Very good. Like a giant aburi oshi sushi. Sooda Fries Very good. Nice take on fries. Original Fried Chicken Very good. Came out piping hot. Service was super friendly. Servers constantly coming by to refill water, ask if food was OK, and provide eating tips. ' Overall, I really enjoyed the visit. I would definitely come back.

Everything we tried was finger licking good! A must try if you are in this area.There was an hour long wait, but realistically, it only took like 35 minutes because a lot of people who were on the wait list ended up leaving.Fyi: There is no room for strollers, so if you bring a baby or small child. Highly recommend leaving that in the car/home.Parking: There is a free garage parking lot on the side of the building where the restaurant is at.

Great experience with very friendly customer service. Food was overall pretty good hard to say that it is authentic. My best pick was their new menu pork galbi on the grill. It will be hot and steamy inside, and you will most likely have to wait past 6.

It is my second time visiting Sooda, I would give 5/5 for the food and the services. Sooda Bulgogi and seafood pancake are the MUST-TRY dishes. Only two side dishes are served (kimchi and potatoes , and the kimchi is different from other Korean restaurants and it tastes special and great. I came to Sooda at around 5:00 pm Sunday and it was not busy. However, there was a waiting line after 6:00 pm. Overall the foods and services are great. Every staff took care of us and even asked if we required additional sources when we need to take out the pancakes. The atmosphere is good but there would be a smell of BBQ on your clothes when you walk out of the restaurant. If you need to attend an important meeting after visiting this restaurant, be sure to bring an alternative clothing. (just kidding...

SOODA KOREAN BBQ is a brand new Korean Restaurant in North Burnaby. The restaurant is located nearby Brentwood Mall Skytrain Station. It's only 5 mins walking distance from the train station. It mainly serves Korean Style BBQ and 18-inch huge sushi rolls. My co-worker always wanted to eat at this place with me, but we were always busy and did not get a chance to go.  Finally, I got a chance, had a dinner at Sooda Korean BBQ last month with my boyfriend.<br/ <br/ Last month, My boyfriend and I were there for dinner. We arrived at the restaurant around 6pm on the weekday. It was not very busy there.  We quickly sat down and began to order our dinner. We had SOODA FRIES and two different kinds of SOODA BOXes to share. After we ordered the food, the server brought several small cold dishes to the table, such as Kimichi, Sweet Potato, and etc. MMM Kimichi was my favorite. It was great in large sized of the portion. About 10 15 mins wait, Our food came out of the kitchen. Sooda Fries is Fries topped with bulgogi, kimchi, onion, corn and variety sauces. The taste of fries was very different from normal fries. It was more likely like Poutine but in Korean Style. It was a unique experience for us.  The taste was awesome.  We also had two SOODA BOXes to share. BUTTER MAYO SOODA BOX Half $13.95 (46 cm of premium Korean steak tartar torched on top of rice with mayo sauce and dried parley) and CHEESE SOODA BOX Half $16.95 (46 cm of premium Korean steak tartar torched on top of rice with mozza). Both of the Sooda Boxes were tasty and delicious. The rice was very soft. Comparing with normal sushi, we love Sooda 18 inch huge sushi rolls more. Great taste and Great sized of portions. <br/ <br/ The price of the food was all around $11 $20, which was a very great deal. In summary, we enjoyed our dinner at Sooda Korean BBQ. We would like to try more food at Sooda Korean BBQ in the future.  Great portion, Great taste, and Great experience.
