Nuvola Gelato e Dolci - Burnaby

Wonderful flavours of gelato served by the owner who always has a smile for you.

I enjoy their ice cream, but the consistently unfriendly service by the owner has made each visit frustrating. Their demeanor is persistently sour, which affects the overall experience. A warm and friendly atmosphere can greatly enhance an ice cream treat, but sadly, that's lacking here. It's reached a point where I hesitate to bring friends or family due to the poor service. I hope the owner considers this feedback and works on being more customer-friendly for a better overall experience

Tiramisu gelato is something unique that you should definitely try.A bit pricey BTW.

American song its closing time (about 20 minutes or less ran through my mind as we hurried to drive to Nuvola. Greeted with a huge smile, positive attitude and great music selection, we entered the shop. The door held open by the owner (I didn't catch his name welcomed us in amd assured us he wasn't closing just yet as he was cleaning up the outside sitting area. We ordered 2 scoops ?? salted carmel and a strawberry oh also two cranolies. The taste ans texture was well worth the 20 minute drive from our hotel.I'd stop again as the vibe was probably one of our best experience while in vancouver.(Sorry no photos ? its closing time so we ate in our car , that way he could finish up his Friday night

Big fan of gelato over ice cream those who know, know. I’m also currently, due to the fire, a displaced Dolce Amore gelato aficionado. So I gave this place a try for the first time tonight and had a cup with Their tiramisu gelato and chocolate Gelato and I was throughly impressed. The tiramisu gelato really does tiramisu justice. If you closed your eyes you would think you are eating cold tiramisu it’s that good. The chocolate gelato was decent on its own and when I mixed a bit of it with the tiramisu gelato on my spoon it did a nice job complimenting it. Overall will visit again, and a solid gelato shop in North Burnaby!
