Nando's Chicken - Burnaby

Hello friends! The other day Grayson and I made our way to the Nando’s in Burnaby because I was craving their peri-peri sauce. Yes I am quite aware that you can buy the sauces at the store by the bottle but it’s a different feel when you go in for a visit yourself! When we walked in the door, I was surprised as to how different it looked from Nando’s North Van because there were more of a rustic look whereas the North Van location had more bright colours.

I absolutely love this Nandos! The chicken is always juicy and fresh. It even beats the Nandos I've had in Europe. We ordered a sharing platter which was a great portion size for the two of us. Highly recommend!

This place is fantastic! It was our first time trying out Nando’s, the service was decent and the restaurant was clean and neat. Staff at the Burnaby location checked with you from time to time to see if everything was fine (probably because they knew we tried it out for the very first time . The fries are just perfect and crispy, chicken tasted very juicy and fresh. We even got a welcome gift which was a peri-peri hot sauce: I took 0.5 out because the portion isn’t a whole lot so if you wanna leave filled full you tummy, you might need to order quite a bunch of stuff.

My friend bought me a nando's :DD really happy about it, i mean free food is always the best no doubt about it, and so she bought me peri fries, and a chicken peri level, i can't remember the spice level, but definitely it's one of the lower level ones... <br/ <br/ I haven't had nandos' for a long time but i do recall that the spice is actually quite good. So had the chicken, the meat is tender, juicy and meaty for sure unlike kfc nowadays... so pretty about that, the spice, it's a tingling sensation, more to savoury type for sure. defintely a good combination of spices. and the fries, definitely alright, more potatoish compared to mcdonalds. so then, overall i would say it's actually good. but again there's something in me that i would rather support local business than a franchise type of food.
