However, after a change in ownership a few years ago, the menu now includes both Japanese and Korean dishes. During our visit, we shared a Chicken Cheese hotpot and a special roll called the Volcano Roll. The Chicken Cheese hotpot was decent but had a large portion size with an excessive amount of sauce on the chicken. Our favorite was the Volcano Roll, which was also in a large portion and consisted of three parts: Spicy Salmon Sashimi, Salad, and Roll. The roll included ingredients such as cucumber, avocado, deep-fried prawn, asparagus, crab meat, salmon, cream cheese, and red bell pepper topped with spicy salmon. The sauce was flavorful and fresh, creating a great combination. The three of us shared this dish. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience at Hon Sushi. Although the food was a bit pricey, totaling around $71 for everything, we felt it was worth it for the quality of the dishes we enjoyed.
Tasty place for Korean food but just average Japanese food. The haemul pajeon is really good with decent seafood and crispy edges. The honey garlic soy chicken wings were also good but not as crunchy as I would've liked flavour was spot on though.
Seating area is nice and spacious , the restaurant is really clean. They offer good service, they offer fair price, and the food is really good.
I sampled the House Roll, Original Chicken, and LA Galbi Mushroom Tofu Soup Combo. The service was okay, but the food was delicious! Definitely recommend giving it a try.
The sushi itself is just great. I ordered mostly nigiri sushi. Rice was properly cooked. Fish tasted great. I'll definitely come back one more time to this place. They did great website for online order, so you can check it out.
