Cockney Kings Fish Chips - Burnaby

Probably the best place around Vancouver, for Fish and Chips! Very nice restaurant, that has been around for years. Very fresh Fish and Chips, big portions, and definitely worth the money. I highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't be disappointed one bit.

Got the Cod Family Pack and an extra piece of salmon for our family dinner last night. They only started packing my orders when I got there to maintain freshness. Service was fast and efficient. The batter got a bit soggy when I got home but still had a nice crisp to it. The flesh was soft and succulent, and went perfectly well with the tartar sauce. The chips were pretty good as well. Really enjoyed everything and definitely going back for more!

Being of English heritage, I suppose this place is in my DNA. Len Evans, seemed to me to be just like an uncle and the sayings on the place mats well, that is my dad talking. It is all the way it should be and has been for a while.Every so often… My(trouble and strife) wife and I and pick some up and head to Burnaby Mountain for a picnic. Yum! Great everything and hope it stays the way it is for a long time.

10/10 fries. I loved their fresh fries. Though I will give the warning that order poutine a plate of fish and chips will leave you very full. (it's alot of fries) Visited here with my partner and the entire staff were extremely friendly and polite. To be honest, I wasn't the biggest fan of the gravy sauce in the poutine, but had that been better it would have genuinely been one of my favourite poutines in Burnaby. Would definitely recommend.

Good place for some fish and chips and deep fried seafood. Got a seafood platter with an extra piece of haddock shared between me and my wife. Fish and oysters were fresh. Chips were good. With a glass of Mimosa. Just perfect. Will come back for more.
