Cockney Kings Fish & Chips - Burnaby

My wife and I ate here for an early dinner on the recommendation of friends and were very pleased with our meals!The fish and chip dinners we ate were tasty,not too greasy and had very nice batter on the fish portions which were generous in size.The order of onion rings that we got was huge and the onions were hand-cut ,fresh,and perfect in flavour!So good that we will go back just for the onion rings alone!Service was good and the prices are average for this type of food.Give them a try and I believe you will be happy,especially with the onion rinds!

We eat Cockney and King's fish and chips regularly and every time, all is great. Cod, Haddock and Halibut are all good, haven't tried but they have shrimp and oysters too. Generous portions of chips and onion rings are chrispy. If taking out, don't choose to put your order in plastic bag and keep the onion rings package open if possible. Always busy, no matter what time of day....says something.

Best fish n chips in the lower mainland !! My family and I order from there at least a couple times a month for the last 25yrs !! U can also eat in they have a great dinning room ! Prices & food are great ! Very family oriented restaurant!!

We read the reviews and decided to go there for lunch. We decided to go with halibut sandwich with chips and slaw. What an amazing treat! We eat fish sandwiches many places up and down the west coast, but this was absolutely the best. The fish was lightly breaded, the fish was not over cooked, the slaw and chips were also good. There was tartar sauce, ketchup, vinegar.. all at the table for you to add more to your sandwich as desired. There was lettuce, tomato, tartar sauce and an onion ring on the sandwich for the final touch. We ate there two days and would go back in a minute. This is definitely a restaurant not to miss!

The halibut was fresh and favorable and so was their prawns. Prices are reasonable and the pop refill was free. Can be busy, so pick the right time.
