Chongqing On Kingsway - Burnaby

The portions at this restaurant are massive! I was blown away by the amount of food we got. We definitely ordered too much because we didn’t know how big the sizes were; with just four of us, we ended up getting seven dishes, haha. The food came out quickly, and the service was also very efficient. I will definitely come back when I'm in Vancouver. The food tastes as great as it looks!

We had a wonderful family dinner here last night and had a fantastic time. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delightful. The deep-fried squid was exceptional, and their hot and sour soup has been a family favorite for years. Thank you for a lovely experience!

I recently tried the Chinese-style butter chicken at Chongqing Restaurant on Kingsway, and it was amazing! The dish had a wonderfully crispy outside while remaining tender inside, resulting in a delightful texture. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The butter chicken was incredibly tasty and satisfying. I really enjoyed both the texture and flavor of the dish, and its presentation was also quite attractive. My overall experience at Chongqing Restaurant was very pleasant, thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. I left feeling very satisfied with my meal and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great food.

I ordered ginger beef and a small rice to go, which totaled $23.50. Unfortunately, they forgot to include any utensils, such as chopsticks or a fork. How am I supposed to eat my meal? It's quite ridiculous! I won't be returning to this restaurant.
