I could be old school, but I imagined the hot pot with the pot where you cooked everything that is brought to you. this was a place that a friend of mine wanted to try, and we tried to make sure it is unique. for the price, I feel it is very reasonable and they get what they choose to be full. at the POINT:• the blown hit on the sweet tooth?.• eating overall is a good time saving.• the ice is generically soft serve.• if they are with someone, they either get their meal done before or after a quarter away their food. bang for your ass.
Very satisfied! the ingredients are fresh and service was quite fast to remember how many people there was in store. everything was well cooked and the meat was the right tenderness. I think it's a bit on the side of the award winner, where a bowl can easily go over $25, but for a new concept sure why not the atmosphere is more casual than I expected from photos/videos of influencers and social media, and the personal seemed really exhausted or not sure what they did. I would say a good place if they wanted to try something new, but in any case prepare to be shocked with how much her pot weighs
Fun to choose exactly what they want to eat! they only pay for the weight of food, and they can choose which broth they want to not charge any additional fee. the price ended really decent, and overall I was filled with my pot $23. Drinks are also so refreshing and cheap, just $4.50-5 per. the free milk tea ice cream that they give at the end free is a beautiful note. Overall, everything tasted super, I loved the Malatang bread. service was very friendly and accommodating. Maybe they have waited a little since they just opened, but they are open until midnight, so it is a good place to go late!
Great new hot pot place in Burnaby. Went for their Grand Opening today. They were still working out some first day jitters but not a big deal.Ordered their #1 Ma La soup which was quite tasty. I ordered mild and still came out with a decent spice.Ingredients were fresh which was nice, but not everything was available when I went (again, first day jitters).Their free ice-cream promotion was a nice treat. Thank you!Service was good, people are friendly. Again, first day jitters but I would work on explaining the whole process a bit better. Server seemed a bit confused as to explaining how this establishment serves its hot pot (server asked if this was my first time here), as well as the cashier being confused about how to ring up my food.Lastly, other places come with free unlimited rice but Big Way charges $2.50 for a bowl of rice if that matters to you.
Very fun place! It's pay by weight so it can get a little pricey if you fill up on heavy items, but the variety of ingredients was nice and the soup bases my bf and I got were delicious. If you want a fun flavor combo, get the Szechuan Green Pepper broth (the numbing one) and a passionfruit tea! The staff were also very friendly, a big thank you to our servers
