DiMario's Trattoria - Burlington

Very nice place with Italian cuisine. Excellent service. Close to the lakefront and its parks and walkways. Lots of parking in the area.

Couple for dinner on a Friday night. The indoor seating had recently reopened. We were seated immediately, after our Covid check-in (including proof of vax). Tables were well spaced and staff were all observing the appropriate safety measures. We split the calamari (a favourite) and...both landed on the veal-stuffed tortellini with sausage and rappini in a garlic-lemon oil sauce. Appetizer and entrée both excellent. Service was friendly and prompt, no issue if we asked to delay for a bit. Cost was very reasonable including a generous tip. We have not had a bad experience at Di Mario's, and really enjoyed our latest one so happy they have weathered what we hope is the worst of the pandemic!

Superb food, good wine selection, excellent service and terrific ambiance all steps from the lake. There's always a good selection of daily features, but the Osso Bucco is always tough to beat. Just a superb family-owned and operated restaurant that always manages to blow...you away. Note that it's a small place and VERY popular, so definitely make reservations for dinner.

We decided to treat our kids to a fine dining restaurant right before the lockdown. The restaurant followed all protocols. We started with Bruschetta and Caesar Salad. We continued with our entrees which were all delicious with good portions. We finished with fantastic Tiramisu and...Gelato. We all, kids included thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was served hot with beautiful flavours. The service was excellent. We look forward to returning after the lockdown to this hands down best Italian Restaurant in Burlington!

Because of COVID, indoor dining is prohibited in Ontario, so DeMario's is doing take-out dinners. We had two of them on our last visit. On both occasions, the meals were ready at the desired time. The first time we all had the veal limone which...was excellent. The meals came in a nice box which doubles as a serving container, so they are ready to eat. We enjoyed the dinners so much that we ordered them on a second occasion. My wife and her sister had the veal limone again, and I had the lobster tail and cheese ravioli in a nice tomato sauce. The lobster tail was in bite-sized chunks and was delicious.
