California Sandwiches - Burlington

Whenever I'm in town I always stop here. I absolutely love the chicken sandwich but it's too big for me so I get the junior chicken with cheese. The flavor's amazing!

Well, I started working in Burlington not to long ago and stumbled upon this sandwich shop. Checked it out on lunch and it’s pretty fantastic.They don’t offer a lot of options but the ones they have look yummy. I went for the veal on a bun and it was excellent. The bun was so soft, the sauce had just the right amount of spices and the veal was cooked perfect.The only reason I only gave 4 stars is the following 2 reasons. 1)I wish the veal wasn’t completely saturated in sauce. This took away any crisp in the veal, gave it a more soggy texture and was a mess to eat. I will ask for the sauce on the side next time so I can add the amount that I like. 2) It was extremely busy took about 20 min to get my sandwich. I could see they had some massive take out orders which I’m sure slowed everything down.All in, I will be back as this place def has some great food! Cheers CS.

Fantastic veal sandwich not cheewy not too much sauce or breading and a good portion. This place is busy and the employees are still smiling and helpful.

My go to when I want a veal sandwich. God, but I don't remember them being that big. I ate half and I was full. Yummy, but huge AF
