Bombay's Chutney - Burlington

We came for lunch and loved the atmosphere and most of the food (onion bhajis, butter chicken and lamb dish). The naan was also very tasty. The service was a bit curt and the roti was a bit flavorless that's why I ga e 4 stars rather than 5. Overall it was a good lunch and I'd gladly go back to Bombay's Chutney

My boyfriend and I recently visited Bombay Chutney. We thought we should try something different to please our pallet. It was our first time eating here. We enjoyed every bite. The butter chicken was delicious over rice and my chicken korma with nan bread was delightful. I felt very comfortable eating this cuisine because of the clean environment. It truly felt like we were at someone’s home eating traditional Indian food. I highly recommend you try this gem of a restaurant if you are into Indian food. Cheers

Simple yet comfortable setting, delicious Indian dishes and friendly service. A refreshingly diverse selection of beer, including two lagers and two ales on tap. Prices are reasonable, and strip mall parking is ample.

My first visit to this restaurant was with a group of 20 friends for lunch. The menu offers a lovely variety of veg and non veg dishes, cooked to suit your pallet mild, medium or spicy. Everyone ordered different dishes and we were all delighted with our choices. The waitress was friendly, efficient willing to explain if anyone needed to know more about a dish. A few weeks later I went back again with a couple of my girlfriends, and they too enjoyed the non veg Thali lunch !

I have been going to this restaurant for years honestly just because of the lack of decent Indian restaurants in the area, but after this last visit I refuse to ever go back. AWFUL SERVICE AND INCONSISTENT FOOD. I’ve had times where the food was great, other times when the meat was so tough it could barely be chewed and the servers and owner could care less, even going as far as laughing in our faces. Take out is no better, as they constantly under quote how long the food is going to take therefore making you stand there for over half an hour to wait. The food is alright (nothing special) but the service is so awful I can’t believe this place is still in business.
