Not sure if the waitress was new? the dinge lasted one because to come out and had to follow some paintings

Very sweet staff attentive and friendly. Food was very good. Not the usual giant portions you get at most Mexican restaurants, which we appreciated.

This restaurant was a disappointment. Our server was fine (very nice young guy who did his best, really can’t complain about his service . The food was not great, though (the queso is literally velveeta with chopped jalapeños on top. Even my very uncultured kids laughed about it—they said it tasted just like the school cafeteria nacho sauce. Yikes! . Steak tacos were mostly pico de gallo (v heavy on the onions and a little bit of chopped, overcooked meat. My nearly $20 margarita had no discernible alcohol in it. I am not a huge drinker, so one margarita is almost always MORE than I drink. This one was all filler. I would strongly recommend not buying a mixed drink from this place at all—I can’t believe how much I spent on fake lime juice and agave!! I almost sent it back but I felt sorry for our waiter who was dealing with the table next door who was sending back their food bc it wasn’t edible (they tapped it on the table to demonstrate! Hard as a rock. Yikes again! The waiter brought out a replacement but after they tasted it, they left that on the table on their way out too. I guess it wasn’t any better. . On our way in, by the way, the hostess was telling a family that they only seat people who have reservations. The restaurant was nearly empty while we were there (and stayed that way . I imagine like many places they have staffing issues but this is not a good business strategy for a mall restaurant. Rosa Mexicano will be out of business pretty quickly, I am sure. Hopefully something better will move in!

Waitress was nice but food was mediocre and our orders came out wrong and never got our second round of drinks we ordered
