I loved all the kimchi and paved options that helped clean our pallet and offer a vinegary break between spicy meat. We're coming back!
I ordered Cod Fish Stew. Looks good and taste is good. the owner is not friendly, but proud of food. he said the best dish is Short Rib Gui.
Place was packed but the food was delicious. I like how authentic it is. Will go back one day.
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant yesterday as we celebrated my best friends birthday. We were a party of seven and arrived around 7:15. The restaurant was quite busy, they offer a seating area where you can wait until you are seated. It didn't take long before we got to our table. We were brought hot tea to enjoy prior to our ordering. Our waitress was wonderful and so gracious. She was sure to communicate that it would be a few minutes before she would be back to take our order. This restaurant offers cook at table BBQ and it is assisted by the restaurant workers to ensure proper cooking and safety. Once our waitress got back to our table, she apologized for the delay, but we were very understanding as we could see she was quite busy. She took our orders promptly and it wasn't long before our food came out. For an appetizer we ordered Tuk bok ki (rice cakes with vegetables in a chili sauce) they were very tasty and full of flavor. The texture of the rice cake was reminiscent of gnocchi and took on the flavor of the sauce, slightly sweet with a great kick of chili. I ordered the Yook Ge Jang, a flavorful spicy beef stew with glass noodles and fresh vegetables. There was an excellent depth of flavor in my stew and I couldn't stop eating it. My fiance ordered Chap Chae, a warm noodle dish with shredded pork, vegetables and a savory sweet sauce, he also enjoyed his meal. I got to try a bite and loved it. Two of my other friends got Beef Bulgoki and Pork Belly Gui, these menu items are cooked at your table with the assistance of your waitress. The Bulgoki was the star of the show that night, as everyone got to try a bite and found it to be extremely tender and well marinated. The BBQ items came with rice, kimchi, tofu skins, and other assorted sides. Our waitress made different recommendations on good flavor pairings for these and she was so helpful! All the meals we got were of exquisite quality and freshness. The amount of food you are given is well worth the prices, which we all found to be very fair. At the end of the meal we were all already talking about the next time we would be visiting, which is a clear indicator that we all fully enjoyed ourselves. As first time patrons, we were so glad to have had this authentic Korean BBQ experience, especially being so close by to us all. The restaurant was easily accessible and has ample parking and it is in a great location. One take away is that I would not recommend coming here if you are in a rush to be somewhere, as this dining experience is meant to be enjoyed at a slow pace.
Mom and pop Korean restaurant hide in the suburbs of Boston, Woburn. If not for friends living nearby, I would still miss this jewel. Imperceptibly from the outside, you can immediately feel the authenticity of the restaurant from the smell, simple decor and family staff. Very busy on a Saturday evening, recommend a reservation before the time. Four meat dishes, two soups, a bibimbop and a cold noodle soup for five people. Short rib and Bulgugi were marinated to the bone, very delicate after only 30 seconds on the grill. The grill has a layer of coal to add some taste to the meat, a unique feature from this restaurant. The Sul Langfingersuppe was also a highlight from the restaurant. The soup itself was Bland so that they give you salt and green onion to supplement, refreshing taste of soup and beef in soup literally melts in the mouth. Order a must. Other dishes were also better than other K restaurants in the city. Mom and pop service was very warm, though very busy. Absolutely a must visit!!!
