Ken's Pizza And Pub - Burlington

My friend came to town on a Friday evening to visit from out of town. He was looking for a pizza joint with a family style atmosphere. As I live just a block away this was the first place that came to mind. Unfortunately, our expectations were only 3/5s met. Service was slow to start. But where I would really knock their stars is when the kitchen missed our request for mushrooms on our pizza (see photo). Luckily, we didn?t have to pay for the missing mushrooms. The pizza was nothing short of ordinary thin crust NY style pizza. We also ordered a basket of cheese curds which were on the daily specials. The last thing the threw me was there complete lack of consideration for the environment. Beer came in plastic, water came in plastic, and ranch came in plastic, for no apparent reason.

Comfortable vibe with ice cold beer and delicious pizza. The bartender was friendly and efficient. We arrive around 6pm -sat at the bar, our drinks were served quickly and food arrived timely hot and delish! Nothing fancy here...just a chill spot with real service!

The food was fine, when we arrived we weren't served water upon arrival, the table was kind of sticky. Our table wasn't served water, but to each their own, but what made us realize that, was how others were served (and they arrived after us). The Captain's Shrimp taco, lacked spices, and flavor, the ingredients in it seemed fresh, but the presentation was lacking. The Philly cheesesteak , looked a bit messy, and quite unappealing. It was served with a bag of chips, and quarter(1/4) of a long pickle. I also took their Shell dish with ricotta(pasta), the presentation was also lacking in this case, but it was a decent dish, simple but well executed. It wasn't too sweet, or too salty, and it was served with garlic bread. Their greek salad is also decent, they do not make their own dressing, but all the vegetables in it seemed fresh and appropriately cut. I would not go again.

Me and a friend went here for dinner the artichoke spinach dip was oily made me sick to my stomach when I saw it tasted gross waitress said it was one of there good dishes no it wasn’t the pizza wasnt bad but they should have known that the artichoke leaves weren’t edible they should have to use the hearts to it my friends Irish nachos were ok but she didn’t like them her pizza was good. After I took some bites of the pizza I felt sick from eating there didn’t eat much of it my friend has gone to the bathroom Multiple times Bc she got sick off it I don’t recommend going there I guess it good if ur drinking but not just to go and eat it’s terrible I shouldn’t be able to put a star on it Bc it that bad
