Bojangles - Burlington

The food was tasty, but it could have been fresher.

The food at this restaurant is generally delicious, but be prepared for them to occasionally forget to include any additional items you request, possibly missing one or two of your items.

They forgot to include about two-thirds of my order and didn't pay attention to any additional items I added.

On my recent visit to Boj, I found that the service was not up to par. I have experienced much better service on previous visits. The restaurant was quite crowded, with no available tables. I noticed that the tables were not being cleaned promptly, which resulted in a longer wait to place my order. The presence of children running around the restaurant also made for a disruptive dining experience. As a seasoned diner, I recognize these as signs of a declining establishment. The staff at Boj could benefit from having a more customer-oriented approach, understanding that it is the adults who pay the bills, not the children.

The Bojangles located on South Church Street in Burlington has an incredible staff! During the brief 30 minutes I spent dining there, I witnessed one of the ladies go out of her way to assist an older man by carrying his tray to his table for him. Furthermore, they also helped an elderly woman who was walking with a walker in the cold rain to get inside. These small acts of kindness that they did without expecting any recognition will be the reason why I will choose Bojangles over their competitors in the future!
