Tim's Takeaway - Burleigh Waters

This is always my quick pop in for food if I have had a long day and do not feel like cooking. Have not had a bad meal yet. In fact will be visiting again tonight as have a foul cold and do not feel like cooking.

Regular go to place for lunch if in the back of MudgeerabaStandard fish'n'chips and burgers available and some great Chinese options My favorite is the sweet and sour pork with fried rice Their store-made sausage rolls are awsomeUnfortunate not open on Monday. Owners need at least one day off a week :)Lately have a few Kookaburras that will dive bomb and steal your food if sitting outside. Watch out!!!!Decor is not great, very 80's fish and chip shop look. Not a dine in restraunt, limited outside seating . Very reasonable prices

Have been going to Tim's for over 5 years now. I have had virtually everything on their menu. Not once have I ever had a bad meal. The meals are cheap, quick, simple and delicious everytime. Everytime we have visitors up from Sydney they even ask to go to Tim's to get a feed.

If you're looking for a great feed on the run Tim is the man. Affordable, tasty and no chit chat. This bloke knows his way round a kitchen. You get the feeling he's cooked in some high class restaurants, and now he's just cruising

The food is good and very affordable but woe betide asking for anything out of the ordinary, such as grilled fish rather than fried. However, they appear to be run off their feet so they're definitely doing something right, even if their public relations could be better. As we all prefer grilled fish we might not go there again, but if you stick to the usual fare you should be fine.
