BSKT Cafe - Burleigh Waters

This coffee is in the lonely planet 2019, it is recommended for VGs that is why we came here. The online menu was different from that on the tablet (with which you have to order) and was not clear at all on the vegan options of the dishes. Result: we received a dish rather different from what we expected and frankly ... it was not extraordinary, we doubted the freshness of some foods. A vegan croissant is also on the map, but it is boiled with cramping that can surprise when you do not expect it. Hot chocolate was very hot, excellent mocha on the other hand.

Here for breakfast! Great little place with vegan options. By waitress tells that they can make everything vegan, what we want, what was very appreciated! Tofu breakfast and pancakes were great. The prices were good, coffee was great! Come on!

Loves this café right on the beach! The staff is friendly and there are some vegan options available... only problems are they a little accidentally a massive vegan hot dog and chips or a cold zucchini noodle salad... they are just delicious not always meeting the selection point

I wandered in wanting a snack, but found the staff didn 't know what was vegan their menu only has a symbol for 'vegetarian '. One item (a brownie) had 'vegan ' in the description and the waitress said it wasn 't, which was confusing! Also things like the apple pie were apparently not vegan. So my options were limited, but in the end I got a nice turmeric latte with coconut milk and an acai whip with fruit. It was nice sitting at the wooden bench out the back in the sun, watching the ocean. It 's table service only, and I waited ages for the acai whip, but I was on a long weekend chilling out so it didn 't matter. The only other disappointment was that the acai whip came in a disposable cup (with 'compostable ' spoon I 've heard these actually take ages to decompose) even if you 're eating in. All in all, not really a vegan vibe here, but good enough if you 're in the area, and it 's a nice setting, with no traffic, and an ocean view out the back.

Some vegan options, but the pancakes were so dry! She looked fantastic, but couldn't finish it.
