Al's Diner - Burk's Falls

Double smoke bacon from his smoker homemade jam and hash browns are delicious and they are not deep fried. My go to breakfast joint .

We're on our way to North Bay today and we stopped for some breakfast at Al's Diner because it had good TripAdvisor reviews. I love a nice home cooked Canadian breakfast and that's what we got here. This is a nice little place that serves a good cup of coffee and a great breakfast. You'd be surprised how many places can screw up eggs, back bacon and home fries, but not here, everything was excellent and the service was just as good as the food. Take some time, get off the highway and stop in at Al's Diner for a bite to eat, you'll be glad you did.

What a wonderful unassuming little slice of perfection. Found Al's as they were the only place open on Canada Day. Was so impressed with the homemade food and outstanding service we went back the next day for breakfast. I had the schnitzel on a bun. The owner was so concerned the piece was not big enough they brought a second piece. My husband and our friend had the fish and chips and they both raved about the quality and taste. Breakfast was fantastic the double smoked maple glazed bacon and homemade peach vanilla jam was worth the trip alone. Coffee was the perfect temp and beat Tim Hortons by a mile.

We had the chance to stop in for some GREAT food. I personally enjoyed the homemade chicken fingers!! Could not have asked for a more welcoming environment. If you get the chance stop in, see Al and enjoy his cool diner!
