El Pique Peruvian Mexican - Burien

This restaurant is amazing! After reading numerous reviews, we finally decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was lively with a mix of families and groups of young people. There were sports screens and music that made me want to dance. The waitress was young but polite. The lady and her daughter at the table next to us recommended the jalea, which was like a Captain's Platter with a foot long fish that was buttery and delicious. The cheese on the outside was more like fried chicken than the usual fish and chips. The platter included shrimp, scallops, octopus, mussels, calamari, white corn, sautéed red peppers, tomatoes, salad, and Yuca fries - plenty of food for two people. The tarter sauce was unique and tasty, perfect for the fish and seafood. My husband had the Pfanne Huelo, a soup with a whole crab leg, octopus, scallops, shrimp, squid, mussels, and fish in an orange sauce. It was flavorful and delicious with cilantro and lime. The horchata was less sweet than usual and a perfect end to the meal. We left feeling full and satisfied, excited to come back and try more dishes. The staff and atmosphere were fantastic - we will definitely be returning!

I was there last Sunday, server was annoying, but eating was forever and wh when it finally arrived was not so good. my buddy ordered la carne aside and it was ok and I ordered el mendoza and it was terrible, I don't think that the trip and bark likes was cleaned properly because it was slimy and half an hour after gave me the pists

I found it difficult to find any positives about this restaurant. The only thing I can say is that the food had good flavor, though it was dry. I visited last Wednesday at 9 pm. I was extremely disappointed by the inaccurate information about their prices. They gave us a regular menu with prices we based our orders on, but when the bill came it was much higher than expected. Some items were nearly double what was listed on the menu. When we brought this up to the waitress, she explained that there were higher night prices that went into effect around 7 pm (though they couldn't give us a specific time). We would have appreciated being informed about the price difference beforehand, or having a separate night menu with the updated prices. Unfortunately, we did not see any indication of a price change for the evening. My family and I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The barbecue chicken was fantastic! It brought back memories of camping and cooking chicken over a campfire. The new interior of the restaurant also looked amazing.

This is not Peruvian food!!! Had the pollo saltado they served it w noodles. The papa la huancaina was awful. Maybe they have good Mexican food. But they should take the Peruvian out the name. The fries were pretty good tho.
