The staff here are warm and friendly, the whole place has a very good atmosphere. Good food in the afternoon/evening. Comfortable spacious bedroom, comfortable super king size bed, bathroom clean, excellent shower, soft towels but the fabric of the bathroom could do with upgrading. Excellent breakfast choices. We will definitely stay here again.
We loved the country setting. The exterior could be cleaned up a bit more, but overall it was a nice place with a clean room. Very good breakfast and friendly staff as well.
We picked the coldest weekend of the year so far, and even had Snow ! It was a wonderful stay, in a charming Hotel, with a relaxed atmosphere and attentive, friendly, happy staff . The room was warm and clean and the Breakfast was great with plenty of options. The large open fire was perfect to while away a couple of hours before dinner to enjoy Mulled wine and Hot chocolate. Great value.
Super helpful staff, great food and drink,comfortable room and all in an Historic Coaching Inn now part of Butcombe where Card holders enjoy a 25% discount on food on a Wednesday. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and have no hesitation in in recommending i.
