The service was excellent! The food was incredible! We enjoyed everything we ordered and would highly recommend coming here. It is quite small, and fills up quickly so reservations are a must! The food is delicious. My favorite is the rigatoni bolognese. The desserts are also really good. It's a small venue and the noise level can get high. Service is very good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50

An odd location from the exterior, but a lovely, intimate dining area. The service was good once we were seated, however we had to stand at the front of house for a few minutes before being greeted, we had a reservation and did not have to wait after being acknowledged. My wife had the Penne Alla Vodka and it was very good. The vodka sauce was on point and delicious. She did not opt to have a protein added. The portion sizing was generous which makes sense given the price. While it was slightly cheaper than most Italian Restaurants in the area, the pasta was most likely boxed and not made fresh. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and I have to say that it may be the worst I've had in LA. Again, boxed pasta, so nothing special. The sauce was fine, it wasn't great, perhaps on the verge of good. The meat balls were atrocious. It was like they balled up raw hamburger meat, boiled it, froze it and then microwaved it. There was no hint of an appetizing flavor. No seasoning to note. No noticeable ingredients used aside from beef. The texture was something completely new for me. I've never experienced meat as grainy and dry as this. It was shocking. Overall, this place gets 3 stars (barely) because our server was attentive and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. My wife's dish was also impeccably good. I'd give the food a 2.5 if it were an option, but I will round up instead of rounding down because the Penne was actually that good. Unfortunately I don't believe we will be returning because I don't know that the food will be consistent.
