Impossible to reach the hostel on the phone last week to book a table on Friday night. several messages left, but never a reminder. Obviously, do we care about customers (too)? many in this season, but because they don't respect them maybe they'll go somewhere else?

On a cycling tour - hot and hungry - we decided to follow the (rather dilapidated) signs to this auberge. We were so glad we did. Charming and original, with lovely staff - the food was simple and delicious. We had the cheese platter and the charcuterie platter - both served in wooden boxes. All lovely and fresh and delicious. Well worth the bumpy detour on our bikes!

Improbable inn in an unlikely place. very refreshing setting, a lot of freshness and very good cook. budget very reasonable, half board very accessible, ideal for a few days stay with family.

The hostel welcomes hikers (solos, couples, groups) because the area is remarkably rich in walks. a large swimming pool; two large terraces for lunch or dinner. lunch: only a small meal: an excellent cutlery tray for just a little over 5 euros, idem for the cheese tray. very friendly service but of course, when there is a lot of people, you have to wait a bit (it is reasonable). restaurant at night: count 25 euros.
