Excellent pints of Guinness and lovely staff. Give your legs a rest after exploring the castle and grounds and relax with a pint.
I absolutely adored this pub located in the folk village. It felt like taking a step back in time. They offer a fantastic variety of drinks, ranging from whiskeys to craft beers.
I had lunch at this restaurant with my wife and two children. We ordered Turkey and Ham and a burger for the main dishes, as well as two kids meals with chicken and chips, totaling €40. Unfortunately, I have to say that this was one of the worst meals I have ever had in all my years of eating out. It seemed like every part of the meal was a frozen, ready-made dish. The burger was so bad that my wife couldn't even eat it due to the strange taste of the meat. The roast potatoes and vegetables tasted like they had been frozen, and the meat was very poor quality with a plastic-like taste and bland stuffing. Despite being hungry, I did not enjoy my meal. The kids' meals were also disappointing, with frozen chips and chicken goujons that had a strange, pulpy texture and lacked any real chicken flavor. I felt that I could have gotten a better meal from the frozen section of a supermarket. I did try to complain to the staff, but ultimately decided to simply pay and leave without speaking to the manager. The issue was not something that could be easily fixed, as it was the overall quality of the food that was lacking. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.
I dined at this restaurant today and was overall disappointed. The waitress had to ask us several times what we ordered and the food took a long time to arrive. I specifically requested my dinner without Brussels sprouts, but when it was served, the plate was full of them. Additionally, when it came time to pay, there was confusion among the staff about the bill and they were seen arguing behind the bar, which was very unprofessional.
