Argyll Arms - Bunessan

The location is great, with an excellent view and friendly locals. The staff is welcoming, but they seem overworked and understaffed. Unfortunately, the food took two hours to arrive and was incorrect or burnt. Overall, it has a nice atmosphere, but it's not the best choice if you're looking for good food.

We all enjoyed the fish and chips, chocolate fudge cake, and sticky toffee pudding, all of which were absolutely delicious. With every bite, we couldn’t help but rave about how tasty everything was. The staff were friendly, and the location was stunning. We were also impressed by the nearby 24/7 book shed, just a stone's throw away.

We stopped in for a meal during our day trip to Iona, and it was fantastic. The smoked haddock chowder was exceptional. The service was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable.

A great warm welcome and a good substantial menu. Always busy so booking is essential. Did not stay here but ate here on a couple of evenings and it was great speaking with the locals and enjoying good quality home cooked food. It added to the holiday experience.

Had an amazing dinner here. The prices are very cheap compared to the rest of the places we have been in. The portions were very generous and the staff was super friendly
