Lily Rose Cafe - Buncrana

It's not Lily Rose anymore it's Swan Perk and it's awful made me sick. Waitresses were nice though but food was awful.

We are pleased we decided to dine at this restaurant. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed tea, scones, and sandwiches/melts, all of which were delicious. We would definitely recommend this place.

Visited Lily Rose cafe last week while in Buncranna, the food was delicious, an excellent variety on the menu, the staff couldn't be more helpful and very friendly, I even got a lovely teapot from the proprietor, we will definitely be back.

My husband and I were passing through Buncrana and decided to stop for a quick coffee. Our first challenge was finding a parking spot as it seemed all the streets had metered parking. Since we only had cards due to Covid-19, we were relieved when a kind local informed us that the first 30 minutes were free. The Lily Rose looked clean and inviting, so we initially went inside for takeaway coffees. However, after seeing the hand sanitiser, social distancing measures, and friendly staff, we decided to stay and enjoy our drinks inside. Both my latte and my husband's cappuccino were well made and delicious. We also shared a large slice of carrot cake and savored our pit stop. We highly recommend this charming eatery.

Totally disagree with the previous reviewer. My husband has been cocooning since March, when Lily Rose reopened we thought we'd venture out for lunch, we felt very safe with the measures put in place. Contact tracing sheet on arrival, plenty of distance between each table, staff have visors and there is a screen at the counter. We have returned a few times since and always been impressed both with the safety measures and the food, don't miss the goat's cheese salad. Friendly staff, will definitely return.
