We rocked up to see a band and dinner and the restaurant was closed, so the bar staff said we could bring food in. We ordered pizza for the whole group and then got told by another staff member we couldn't bring it in and had to eat it on the street. While the band we paid to see was playing!! No manners, no clue.
Went with large group for dinner. Good options on menu and food was tasty, Some innovative sauces made for interesting flavours Service was attentive .Down side having to go to bar in another room for drinks.. The food was not cheap with average prices -$20 entrees $30 mains $15 desserts so was surprised the coffee was not an option with dessert They are getting a machine so hope next time we go it is available
My niece had her 21st here and the experience was lovely, the view excellent and the food OK. The service was a tad slow and we had a visit from the owner or manager that was "unexplainable" but overall a great place for big family gatherings
The establishment from the outside if pretty drab looking, but inside it oozes history and has an almost English pub - old style feel to it. On first review of the menu it appears quite diverse and on paper seems out of place for a drab looking old pub. The prices were considerably higher than one would expect, as an example schnitzel and chips for 22 bucks and if you want sauce it is an extra 3 bucks so based on the prices I was expecting quality. Disappointed is one word that comes to mind. Food was cold, no flavour and lacking in substance. A real shame as the ambience has real potential to turn this little secret into a roaring success for northern suburbs inhabitants.
