Although the place has a bit of an old feel, it is kept clean. They have a few tables and offer homemade salsas. I felt like I was in Mexico while dining there. I'll definitely be back!
Don't judge a book by its cover... this hidden gem will surely satisfy your craving for Mexican food.
Good food, perfectly cooked, fast service, exactly what you'd expect from an authentic taco shop.
I have long said that the best Mexican food does not come from big family restaurants but these wonderful little hole in the wall cocinitas and El Zamy is no exception. Hands down THE BEST al pastor I have ever had. (Update: The rotisserie aka Trompo has not been in use for a year so the al pastor is actually adobada now and not the real deal) You are not going to find dinner combinations here nor get chips with your food. Tacos and burritos are spot on with no cheap fillers like rice and beans. Fresh menudo on Friday and Saturday.
Price is good at 9.50 for 4 Tacos with a soda. Both Al Pastor and Chicken were SALTY. Chicken tasted like it was cooked in a bullion cube. Meat was tough. Carrots were delicious!
