While the menu has a great appeal and has improved our appetite, the delivered articles mostly let us be disappointed. The objects were edible, but no depth of taste and refinement. felt as if they had some great base sauces, but dilute them down to stretch them and increase profits, but it has greatly reduced the quality. The two things our party actually enjoyed were the macaroni and cheese and the rails dider dead's. I would make the guacamole clear.
The decor is always clean, the waiters are welcomed, friendly and knowledgeable about their menu, and the food is just delicious! If you want a big burger, I recommend The Rail 1868! I always feel welcome when I eat in this restaurant, and I look forward to the return!
What a treat! We stopped after a long day of driving to find that there was a short waiting time. While waiting, a man let us know that there are seats at the upper bar, so we took it. We had an excellent service at the bar. It was a fun and friendly atmosphere. Lots of laughing tonight for funny girls and bartenders. We shared the Dip Rail and ordered the French Dip and the Rail Sandwiches. The dives were really good and the chips were thin, crispy and warm. My husband had the French dip with the fries. I didn't love the Pommes because they were super thick, to potatoes for me. I had the Rail Burger and Sweet Potato Waffle fries. I loved that. Our drinks were full. Everybody was so friendly. A guest went around with her toddler who waved to us and killed us kisses. The host, bartender and the Lord (probably manager) were so friendly and thanked us for our visit. It wasn't over the top, but enough you know they appreciate you coming here. I would definitely recommend The Rail!
This place has a lot to work on their food was good but they were out of a lot of items (food and drink). Their QR code for their menus was very confusing and their cocktails are def gonna make them go broke. I suspect the bartenders are not using jiggers to measure and def tasted like it. Cowboy boots worn by staff are distracting and def an OSHA violation. No manager on the floor at all so it was just a bunch of teenagers running the show. We had to ask for appetizer plates, napkins, more silverware. Do not order the beignets. They're just fried grands biscuits with the teensy bit of powdered sugar. Beignets should be covered in powdered sugar. Again, it was supposed to come with cheesecake (but they were out of it). Emilie was AMAZING given that it was her 2nd night and she had zero training on the menu or the drinks.
