Southern Junction - Buffalo

Everything in here was great, the staff are great and the meat was great. Had no complaints overall. Everything is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Didn’t get a chance to go to the bar but the cocktails people were drinking looked good as well. The sauces were a great selection of the three. Got the meat sampler, 2 Texas twinkies bacon wrapped jalopeño poppers two drinks came out to about 85 bucks. For 2 people not bad, Everything seemed fresh and hot as well. Good recommendation for some good BBQ

When I say this might be one of the best BBQs I have ever had, I am not over-exaggerating. I have had a lot of BBQ in my short life so far and this is right up there with the best. But before we talk about the food, we have to talk about the spot itself and the service. The people working here are phenomenal. They're so friendly, and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. They really make this whole experience so great. The decor, layout, and seating areas here are well designed and make it a comfortable spot for a nice dinner date or just a casual meal. Now on to the food. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and had such a good flavor. The unique blend of the sides and different ingredients really make this a different kind of great BBQ. Everything from the main meats to the bbq sauces have a different taste that make everything compliment each other on the plate. This is one of those meals where I ate til I was stuffed and didn't even get to my dessert. I haven't had a chance to even touch the banana pudding yet but I can't wait. Based on how the meal was, I know it'll be delicious too. I will not only be back, but I'll be bringing everyone I know to try this spot out!

The food here is so delicious! My husband is southern and I am Indian, and we were blown away at the fusion of these two cuisines. The meat was cooked perfectly and so juicy.

I just got home and figured I had better write a review before I come down from my high. I was born and raised in Texas. We used to drive an hour North to wait in a line to get a 1/2 lb of brisket done so moist (low and slow you didn't need a fork or knife. I moved up to NY in 1997 and to Buffalo in 2004 constantly looking for that kind of bbq. Dinosaur good but not the same, Fat Bobs same...all nice but you need sauce. Well helloI justcame back from Southern Junction and I have found the Mecca! This is the real stuff plus cool sides with an Indian twist (cardamom cornbread and biryani rice for example yummy! . They even have Shiner on tap. Staff is great...sweet, charming and knowledgeable. Big shout out to Bubba (one of the Junction family who added to a lot of the charm this evening. Can't wait to go back. I would love to share pics of my food and my partner's food but I ate everything. Sorry, but go see for yourself.

The best barbecue in Buffalo, the chicken is bomb, brisket is perfect. Sides and the curry sauce make it a unique experience and only further enhances the meat.
