Pho Lantern - Buffalo

Pho lantern has a set of clearly labeled vegan options. they have daily specialties, including $4 vegan pho on Wednesday. the small pho is actually quite filling, so they expect rest when they update the size. besides the pho, I go in the regular with damped dumplings or a tofu bahn mi (vegans just ask them not to butter the brot.) they are connected with a Vietnamese food over the road, so they stop there after dinner to tofu, jack obst, production or the magic, soy-based vegan half-hook note: the decor has also the place has too many tvs for my lust. updated from the previous review on 2017-10-03

My husband and I live in West Virginia. We often venture to neighboring states in search of the ultimate bowl of Phó. We happened across this gem on our way home from Niagara Falls. First, the atmosphere is aahhhmaaaazing!! It was probably the nicest Vietnamese restaurant either of us had dined in. Second, THE FOOD!! O.M.G!! Our 'home ' base is a small place in South Charleston, WV which we use as a basis for comparison with every other place. Phó Lantern is the first find to actually give Phó Vihn Long a run for it 's money. The menu offered a large selection...although I opted for a Bûn bowl, the Phóritto looked like a fun dish. I highly recommend this place for any, and all, asian food lovers such as ourselves :

Discovered this place last wk,the Vietnamese rice was best rice dish I've ever eaten,we had a large variety of dishes for dinner and everything was excellent,and reasonably priced a great bonus.

Excellent food, great price : : We enjoyed the meal!! We got the pho, dumplings, Vietnamese fried rice and shrimp pho and they were all great. The ambience was great as well. Would highly recommend it

The best pho in buffalo. The ingredients they use are top notch. The atmosphere in this restaurant is incredible. I would highly recommend to any of my friends and family. Definitely coming back again
