Mill Creek Inn - Buffalo

Eating on the patio in perfect weather was our superb introduction to the Mill Creek Inn. My Korean BBQ salad bowl was delicious and satisfying. Our server Meg was friendly and attentive, even though she was juggling many other diners on the patio. Hope toreturn soon! [FYI: we ordered sweet potato fries as mentioned on the website and they were also listed on the menu, but they areactually not available anymore, at least as of July 2022.

The food was mediocre at best, but the service was absolutely terrible. I wish our server had informed us that it was BOGO night instead of just dropping off our drinks without any explanation. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have ordered a margarita due to its high alcohol content. The server only approached our table twice: once to take our food and drink orders, and the second time to collect our credit card. She never checked in on us after we received our food. The mahi tacos were bland, and the tortillas were far too thick—I'm not sure why we were given two tortillas for each taco. Additionally, she never asked how we wanted our steak bites or my friend’s burger cooked, both of which were overcooked and could have served as hockey pucks. The server appeared miserable and lacked any personality, giving more attention to larger groups or younger patrons. It was surprisingly disappointing. If you’ve been in the industry for over 20 years, there’s really no excuse for this level of service. You know the saying, “Don’t quit your day job”? Well, maybe it’s time you consider it.

We experienced a bit of a wait for our Sunday brunch, but it was worth it. The food was well-prepared, and the portions were generous at a reasonable price. The service was prompt, and the restaurant offers a full bar. Overall, it's an excellent spot for both lunch and dinner.

The food was excellent. However, the atmosphere was quite noisy and a bit cramped. The exhaust fans in the kitchen could use some improvement, as all our clothes ended up smelling like smoke and frying oil.

Totally excellent food, 2 for 1 on drinks. 1st time there it will be iur permanently on Thursdays!
