Bertha's Diner - Buffalo

Had a tasty breakfast. Service was excellent, friendly and accommodating. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to substitute. Place was clean. Highly recommend.

The experience started out lovely. Great customer service, until I paid and I made a mistake about the change I got back. Even though I thought she had made the mistake I was graceful with her. She was defensive, impatient and erratic. It made me extremely uncomfortable. We can discuss without having attitudes and make someone who is paying and tipping feel condemned. Heard nothing but good things about this place, but when I called, I spoke to a absolute peach on the phone. Called to ask for takeout and hostess immediately had an attitude, snapped and said they don’t do anything. I just hope she’s not always in a mood there.

The food is so good! Staff is so friendly, there is bottomless coffee and for the first time ever in my life visiting diners I was offer a to go cup for coffee. I was able to take an extra cup for the road instead of sitting and drinking it after I've long finished my meal.

Excellent breakfast…that's all they serve tho… initially was going for lunch..
