My dinner last night was the best meal I've had in a while and I've had some really good food. I got the 4 piece chicken dinner with mac cheese and fried zucchini and loved every bite. The service was very friendly. I'll definitely be back for more. HiMs. County, I heard you on NPR and want to meet you but yesterday it was too busy to bother you. I'll come for lunch sometimeand say hi.

I usually order the oxtails or the roast and it's absolutely wonderful.this time I had bought the fried chicken; the grease was old/ bad. when I called to give the suggestion that they should change it bec. It tastes funny .the lady that answered the phonewas really sarcastic and rude when I told her the grease was bad. and you can taste that but all in all the food is good.

Okay so I have read some of the reviews and I normally follow them when trying something new. In this case I found this restaurant to be pretty good. The food was on point as I had the oxtail dinner with rice and black-eyed peas and cornbread. Itwas definitely good and they even surprised me with a piece of cake which I didn't expect. The only downside for me was theportions. I would have rather had more oxtails and a little less rice for the price of 23.00 but I understand that oxtailsdefinitely aren't cheap and the taste of the food was very good. The people at the counter were very pleasant also. I'lldefinitely be back!!!!

Not good at all. Super tiny portions for the amount I paid. Food wasn't great at all. Got a tiny cube of cornbread and a literal sliver of pound cake. Chicken fingers were also very small and plain because they didn't put the sauce on like I asked. Thegreen beans had so many onions it was all I could taste. Items were missing: the sauce for the tenders was missing and my punchwas also missing. The mac and cheese had some green herb in it that made it taste weird. I was really looking to suffice my urgefor soul food and this place did not do it by any means!! Gross. Will not return.

Me and my friend had a huge meal of the Pork and Chicken combos that come with 2 sides, cornbread and lemon cake. You get a lot for your money especially since we got filled up so quickly! Meat was seasoned well and the beans were a good highlight. It'slaid back and I'd say a combo of dining/chilling since theres not really waiters, you grab your food, sit and enjoy. The insidewas decorated nicely with some seating outside. My friend said the food was a 10/10 and I agree it really had a home cookedfeel. It was both our first time in after a long day and we were looking forward to eating here. Nice experience overall!
